Ma troisième exposition (!!) a eu lieu à Vitoria, près de Bilbao en Espagne, en Novembre 2008.
Sur invitation de mon amie photographe, Yolanda Martinez, je suis parti participer au concours Periscopio 2008. Il s'agit d'une compétition d'expo photo ouverte aux amateurs qui se tient en parallèle du World Press Photo, réservé aux professionnels. J'ai donc proposé Los Hombres de la Sabanna, les Hommes de la Savane, basée sur mon expérience avec les Bushmen de Namibie. L'idée fut acceptée par les organisateurs, et Yolanda s'est occupé de tout, notemment de me trouver un bar génial pour y poser mes Hombres. Grâce toujours à Yolanda, j'ai eu un accueil très espagnol: extrêmement chaleureux et convivial ! J'ai même eu droit à une petite interview en espagnol (pauvre de moi ;-). En bref, je n'ai rien gagné d'autre que de nouveaux amis et un plaisir immense à partager mon experience avec tous ces gens très ouverts. Maintenant que je suis accro aux tapas, je suis obligé d'y retourner ;-)

My 3rd exhibition (!!) took place in Vitoria, near Bilbao in Spain, in November 2008.
My friend Yolanda Martinez, who's a photographer also, invited me to the Periscopio 2008 competition. This is about photo exhibitions open to amateurs which takes place at the same time as World Press Photo, deticated to professionals. I then proposed Los Hombres de la Sabanna, the Men of the Savanna, based on my experience with the Bushmen of Namibia. The idea was accepted by the jury, and Yolanda take care of everything, including of finding an awesome Bar to put down my Hombres. Still thanks to Yolanda, I had a very spanish welcome: very warm and convivial! I even had an interview in spanish (poor me ;-). At the end, I didn't win anything else than new friends and a great pleasure of sharing my experience with all those open minded people. Now that I'm addicted to tapas, I got to get back there ;-)

La seconde exposition s'intitulait Au file de l'eau et était basée sur des photographies du Viet Nam. Elle se déroula à Paris en Septembre 2008 au Restaurant le Zango, Rue Daguerre. Vous trouverez des photos du vernissage ici. Une brochure est également disponible.

The second exhibition was called With the flow and was based on pictures from Viet Nam. It took place in Paris at the Zango restaurant, Rue Daguerre, in September 2008. You'll find here a few pictures of the grand openning.
